How Lipsync works:

  1. Start "AudioTool"
  2. Select your input device (=microphone) first if you want to use live-input
  3. Set a channel and remember it (upper right hand corner)
  4. click on "Live"
  5. now in moviesandbox, go to voxeleditor and load a voxelcharacter or quickly draw one
  6. open the console (for most people the tilde key ~)
  7. type in 'switchmouth'
  8. now paint your mouth
  9. if you selected channel one before, you can talk right away and you'll see how your mouth animates.
  10. alternatively, browse to a sound file and click play!
  11. you can also record... (doh).
  12. In the scene editor, you can set the character's channel with the microphone icon.
