MovieSandbox Questions

Hey Kirschner, Michael Lee from Georgia Tech here. First let me say that MovieSandbox has been a great tool thus far to play around with and I look forward to future progress.

For our puppet project we're trying to "rig" the Unreal pawns not unlike a true marionette puppet. In this sense we want to attach virtual strings to the end of the limbs of Unreal characters and based upon the way they're pulled to react appropriately. An example would be attaching a string to the end of an arm, pulling up would cause the arm to move up also. We were hoping that it would be possible to use the ragdoll physics in Unreal 2004 to achieve this sort of puppet movement.

As a general question though, do you think its possible to do by modifying MovieSandbox? Or is MovieSandbox not best-suited for this sort of modifying? Thanks.
