I SO promise to go into more detail about this. It really is just a rough sketch of what's about to come, but i wanted to give you something to play with. | I SO promise to go into more detail about this. How Lipsync works:
(sorry for the abbreviation)
- Start "AudioTool" from the 'MovieSandbox\MSBTools\' directory
- Select your input device (=microphone) first if you want to use live-input
- Set a channel and remember it (upper right hand corner)
- click on "Live"
- now in moviesandbox, go to voxeleditor and load a voxelcharacter or quickly draw one
- open the console (for most people the tilde key ~)
- type in 'switchmouth'
- now paint your mouth
- if you selected channel one before, you can talk right away and you'll see how your mouth animates.
- alternatively, browse to a sound file and click play!
- you can also record... (doh).
- type in 'switchmouth' again to go back to normal drawing - use command to switch between lips and body drawing
- In the scene editor, you can set the character's channel with the microphone icon (and then type in the channel number of your AudioTool.
- Notice that you can have many AudioTools running sending data to different channels.
I SO promise to go into more detail about this. It really is just a rough sketch of what's about to come, but i wanted to give you something to play with.
