How Lipsync works:
(sorry for the abbreviation)

  1. Start "AudioTool" from the 'MovieSandbox\MSBTools\' directory
  2. Select your input device (=microphone) first if you want to use live-input
  3. Set a channel and remember it (upper right hand corner)
  4. click on "Live"
  5. now in moviesandbox, go to voxeleditor and load a voxelcharacter or quickly draw one
  6. open the console (for most people the tilde key ~)
  7. type in 'switchmouth'
  8. now paint your mouth
  9. if you selected channel one before, you can talk right away and you'll see how your mouth animates.
  10. alternatively, browse to a sound file and click play!
  11. you can also record... (doh).
  12. type in 'switchmouth' again to go back to normal drawing - use command to switch between lips and body drawing
  13. In the scene editor, you can set the character's channel with the microphone icon (and then type in the channel number of your AudioTool.
  14. Notice that you can have many AudioTools running sending data to different channels.

I SO promise to go into more detail about this. It really is just a rough sketch of what's about to come, but i wanted to give you something to play with.
